Is pre-registration open in your region?
Press reports say pre-registration is open in 49 countries and regions, and they do not publish the list. On 31 October 2026 I checked 23 storefronts: 17 showed a Google Play Pre-register button, Japan uses a separate app, and Brazil, India, Vietnam, mainland China and Russia showed no button.
How to read the table
The table is the whole sample. A “yes” is the button I saw on that storefront on 31 Oct 2026. It is not a promise about tomorrow, and it is not the missing list of 49.
